To be honest I didn't really see anything I really wanted.. It was just ski/boots/bindings and snowboarding clothing lol

I was getting so pissed. But the actual Jam was better than I did in qualifiers. I nutted myself on that rail twice, that got me really pissed. That setup has potential, (and it's only the first year, experimental describes it) but it's not catered to smaller-ish people. I also face palmed at the announcers "He just turned fifteen and weighs just above 100 pounds!" I weight almost 140, I think my speed problem was because of my really short skis.

Overall, that event was very embarrassing for me and needs some work done to the setup, but it could be extremely good in years coming.

That announcer was a joke.. but you're right. Had lots of potential. Maybe if the landings were longer, and the drop in was a little bit higher there wouldn't be as many issues. It was gnarly watching people slam into the railing.

I wanted to hit that rail soooo badly.. but there wasn't any way I could have gotten enough speed. That last kink kicked you out basically five feet in front of the fence though. Not well thought out.

I mean, I still didn't have enough speed after waxing my skis, wetting and putting tire shine on the drop in, putting tire shine on my skis, getting pushes from people, and like two other things. It was ridiculous.

Yeah for sure. Needs to be rethought for next year. If they can sort that out it should be siiiiick. Not that wasn't fun to watch! I liked it

well guys there's always next year and the future years to come so keep your head up they'll def be fixin up the kinks for next yr. btw don't you just love watchin people bail?

I was there, but our kit with gear never came so we couldn't do anything... i was wearing a blue jiberish chambreezy, and was with a kid who had a cast on his hand, he is one of outdoor technology's riders

The Toronto ski and snowboard outlet event.

Sold a guy some scratch BCs with p14s on em for $150 outta the swap...best deal i saw in there for skis.

So I am thinking about going to this, but I have no idea what really happens there. Is it just like a "look at all of this new stuff (can't touch but we will tell you about it)", kind of show with a ski swap and rail jam tacked onto it?

Just trying to figure out if the $18 ticket is actually worth it.

yeah if youre not buying anything its not worth it. but the 1 time i went i got skis w/ bindings for $100, $115 total after admission haha

So the best deals are on the skis? Because I really only need a spring jacket and some goggles as I would rather not want to buy boots without knowing what will properly work with my problematic ankles.

no they have deals on everything. Jackets, goggles and lots more. 50% off is the average. Usually the deals aren't much better than at the actual shop though, so if you know what you want just go to the shop, if you want lots of selection then the $15 is worth it.

Finally found it on facebook cause someone asked em.

For anyone else thats interested the email

Detes for the jib jam itself? I want to do it, but i have other commitments that may interfere

Whos there tommorow?! (Sat) holler at the guy wearing the large baby blue chambreezy with a pasta stain on it! Im also mocha (half black)

i saw a small black kid toting a pair of those line tab poles and some line skis today. i was thinking, niggas getting in the game!

Did Corbetts have a big selection? i was gonna go on friday but then realized they moved all their clearance merch to the show. fuck the ski show, i hope they still have nice cheap jackets at the store
