Toronto Ski and Snowboard Show

my lady and i both snagged anons for about $45. goggle deals are dope, fat ski deals are dope (gotamas for $350) and obviously cheap snowboard outerwear from last year.

goggle deals were awesome, me and my friend got last years white EG2s for 70$ bucks at a snowboard store. so legit. and my other snowboard friend got anon realms for around 60. not bad at all. good show

anyone see me , i was repping a purple my friends a pro shirt , with pbp headphones and a half blue half red jays hat

def $450 was the cheapest there for gotamas.

the swap sucked, i went looking for fks and saw two pairs, they were both on rossi race skis selling for over $400. no twins to be had in swap.

mcmaster had some good deals on boots. dalbellos rampage, spk kreation, kaos, pro model, all pretty uncommen big sizes though. good selection of skis but none that cheap. also got in a pretty heated debate about center mounting skis with one of their employees. he told me he center mounted his line machetes and hated it.

wtf is a line machete??

maybe he was getting them confused with the K2 1080?

no one really had good deals on skis, mt kirby had lib techs for $299 but i think their trash. sign on the skier had new anthems which were the only thing that were really tempting for me.

if you ask me the best deal there was at the sbc skier booth. 1 year magasine subscription and a copy of everyday is a saterday for $20. yes please.

sbc skier booth didnt.

but there is one both their that had every dvd from this year and last. and im pretty sure they had refresh.

i got in free, so it was forsure worth it to go. if you need equipment then ya its worth it, if your just going cause your pumped to ski and want to look at ski shit then no, buy the freeskier buyers guide and jerk off to that.

mard hot brodskis walking aboot though.

I'd say the best deals there were at the Ultimate travel booth - 600 for two people for five nights (four days skiing) in Trembalnt (early season but still) - yes please.

that is a good deal, however have you been to tremblant early season?

i went in jan two years ago and my testicles still have not dislodged from my body. -40c is colddddddd.

predomently cold early season at tremblant.

i did lol i was going to say something but then my sister needed money and when i looked back up you were gone

Kev I looking around for you for a bit, but in the heat of arguing parents and exessively tall tees we probably missed each other. I talked to a dude who said he got the gotamas for $350 while I was eating my $10 slice of pizza, but maybe he was running me around the block. Where were the EG2's for $70? The cheapest I saw was $80/90. Someone pick me up a pair!

i got some head mad trix and some mojo 15's for 200 bucks. skis were a few years old but never used.

there was a booth that did. i bought yeah dude, reasons and enjoy for $30. i wouldnt be able to explain where the booth was though, i thought that lay out this year was way too confusing.

it was at some snowboard shop that i've never heard of, all of the pure white EG2s were for 90$ total including taxes. every other colored EG2s were 10-15 bucks more...

and yeah skis and bikes had a legit booth for sure, so did Hustler.

lmao a guy at corbetts tried to get me and my friend to buy suspects and afterbangs.

and yeah the mcmaster store had a sick selection of boots, i think i saw some FTs. Also they had the new anthems. I saw the new chronics at sporting life and alot of shops had the new Armada skis.

that is a sweet deal for the sbc, i wish i would have went for that
the machetes were made by volant (the comapny with all metal cap construction) in like 200, and they were carving skis, so the guy clearly had a brain injury

Was anyone at the bike sale Saturday morning? It was sweet. DH bikes were going for $2000.

I went to the ski show after that. Found a few COC campers, bought new boots from 2003 for $50 at the swap, and got a free ticket to the Burton movie premiere across the street which was fun on a bun.

i was there friday. Personally i was really disappointment, there was nothing there that was not at Gates and Boards in Barrie. The only goo deal was the SBC thing and I/O for 100

kinda disappointed in this year's outerwear selection. there was not much there that was cheap. some of the booths were advertising 70% off, but their shit was still mad expensive.

got legit all white EG2s, was walking around thursday in the NS goggle T.

Most notably riding the mechanical bull disgusted as a shaver. Some sick deals but wayyy to many idiots in the corbetts booth.

if i'm thinking of the same booth as you, they didn't have refresh

i asked the guy and he said that they hadn't been shipped them yet, disappointed about that

did you have a conversation with a overly good looking fellow about your center mounted line machetes and your hatred for them?

Holy fuck im glad to be done. I spent all day every day in the swap fitting noobs. It was legendary, except it wasnt...haha my feet/legs feel so bad.

The SBC deal was to amazing to pass up though, i scooped EDIAS + 1 year of SBC for $20.

I was there on the first day and scoured the place for ski vendors but didn't see any of them. Did none of the ski manufacturers set up shop to show off their product lines?

All I saw were retailers, and they really disappointed me selection and price wise. I don't like it when the whole place feels like a flea market. All last years shit or just low end stuff, etc.

i took advantage of the sbc deal. got some salomon boots and corbetts had good ski binding deal which my friend hit up. parking was steep but had lots of fun. where the hell was the viewing theatre for the movies. i was asking EVERYONE and no one new.

i have no idea where the theaters were but i think i passed by a schedule that listed all the movies and what time they were playing. i saw edias and pretty good on it. it was near one of the ice cream stands. never saw the movies though
