Tore my ACL, need a job

Hey! So for background, I just had my surgery yesterday and as my jobs in a ski instructor and ski shop are leaving as the snow melts, I am left unemployed. Last year, I did an internship, so that I could have a fun and free final summer before my first year of college. However, recovery for most activities is late july/august. Anyone got any fun jobs that don’t require a lot of mobility/still let you get involved in biking or outdoors? Or really any other suggestions? It could even involve working from home/flexible schedule

I just got my ACL worked on and I'll be working in a fly shop this summer. See if there's an outdoor shop that needs help working the cash register or something like that? I'm doing bookings and tying flies at my shop.

This is a good idea, I like small companies and stuff so that might be a cool plan. Good luck on recovery!

Yeah, it doesn't hurt to ask around places. When I initially tore it I was working in a ski shop and they worked with me pretty well, the fly shop has been awesome with me post surgery. Lots of mom and pop shops can be accommodating! The ski/bike shop I worked at years ago had at least one person with an ACL recovery every year.

- collect welfare and file bankruptcy

- sew scraps of random shit together and sell it on a bigcartel store for $$$

- sell ur used panties to old men on the internet

- make shitty art and sell it on ur instagram story

- send out emails to random addresses saying you have video of them watching porn and request thousands of dollars to delete it

just a few ideas to get you started!!! good luck, and remember that the government and everybody else totally owes you money and that you shouldn't have to work hard to survive! ???

Unless you’re non weight bearing you should get a job that requires you to be on your feet. You’ll be better off in the long run.
