we need more control on rating system. kids band together and just shoot bunch of 1s on shit they dont want up on top rated cause they dont like the person or soemthing.

yes im speaking for my own experience. how can my videos go from 4th, 7th, and 9th top rated to 5 pages from it in 10 hours? fucking cowards, get a life
 
NS is a buntch of Yung un's, you gotta accept shit like this will happen, yet, i feel what your saying, this has gotta be sorted, but how?
 
Wait i just got a brainwave, ok, why dont we follow pinkbike and do what they do, they have mods who cant moderate stuff on the forum, but have access to controls for pictures or videos, like just one of those sections, so they focus on just that section, and they will sort it out. Good idea?
 
Its the internet..kids are the most immature people out there..everyone has experienced it and most likely has taken part in it. They are probably just pissed because they weren't in the videos doing 360s..newbs
 
You're 100% right that its something that badly needs to be addressed.

We realised it with the video contests, where there were lots of people who tried to cheat.

The goal is to add the ability for Moderators to see who has rated a video and delete erronious ratings. This system will be relatively simple to implement, we just need time.

So know that it will probably be around for next fall/winter, but we just don't have the spare coding time to dedicate to it right now1
