huge tool fan here,my name says it is,i seen them live in august at the corel center in ottawa,fucken amazing,they sound so damn good,no fuck ups whatsoever,it just sucked cuz we couldnt see maynard,he was almost right behind danny(the drummer)and i learned that maynard plays bass during the shows,

 
naw maynard doesn't play bass during the shows, I saw them twice live in august and they were the best, but I could see maynard and he just doesn't face the audience for most of the show and occasionally he's naked on stage. What did you think of Tomahawk the band that opened?

 
tomahawk were alright,mike patton was creative,he used the gas mask to sing and it sounded all freaky and shit,and yes maynard played bass during the show i seen,its kind of obvious when he has an actual bass in his hands,it wasnt for all the songs so,maybe like 2 or 3,it was super wicked when they opened with sober,i thought they woulda opened with something off lateralis since it was to promote lateralis,

they actually opened with Commando by the Ramones to tribute joey and dee dee when I saw them in NJ. But the grudge fucking ruled and so did sober. I really like that diff opening to schism also

 
yeah,the grudge was played perfectly,the big scream that maynard does was excellent,that guy has one hell of a voice

aenema and lateralis are my fav,undertow isnt bad,opiate is pretty good too,i was gonna buy it but theres like 8 songs or sumthing like that on it and it was on sale for 29bucks,so i said fuck it
