Like any other trick or style, I like them in moderation, done well, and with some sort of creativity; Leigh's part in WE had a lot of creativity and I like that.
But with any trend in skiing, when there's too much of it, it becomes boring to watch. The 86 this year had too many shots of front 270s out of closeout rails and too many wall ride shots for my taste. I personally felt that Weight was a much better balance of urban riding and for that reason I enjoyed it more. The same can be said about Leigh's segment from WE and his Segment from Grand Bizarre, though it could be possible that he simply didn't get around to hitting any rails because of the abrupt end to his season.
Regardless, it's not the tranny finding and wallrides that are the problem, it's the lack of variety that bothers some people.
