TOMs shoes, anyone have them?

So I saw a guy wearing a pair yesterday and they seemed sweet. I am not sure if I can pull them off since I am a bigger guy and not much of a hipster I guess, but I still like them overall. Are they comfortable?

I am thinking about surprising the wifey with one of these maybe

I hate them on every guy i have seen them on, i wouldn't recommend them. Girls rock them, guys don't
 
Yeah so let me clarify, I saw them on a guy and thought they looked cool, wished I could rock them, decided I couldn't, now I want to get some for wifey.

 
seems like a decent idea man, i'm sure your lady would appreciate it and enjoy a nice comfy flat shoe.
looks like they come in multiple colors too
 
i have a pair, and i wear thhem alot mainly for comfort or instead of flippy floppys, and i like thhe miiddle ones as a present for your wife

But to be quite honest I feel like the slipper style ones are real hard to pull off if you're a dude. JAH
 
Unless you rock skinny's or are some kind of hipster then probally not :( you can go for the ones with the laces though. I have a pair and love them but after a bunch of walking, roaming, and festival partying, they stink! Throw them in the freezer to get out the stank. If you like TOMS, check out EVERYDAY APPAREL!!!
 
they were cool at first, but then my school sold them as a fundraiser and now it seems that fucking everyone in town wears them, even fucking dudes. not while fucking dudes. you know what i mean. its really effing stupid balls.
 
I've seen a few guys wearing them and IMO, they pulled them off. Plenty of chicks wear em. I wouldn't mind picking up a black or grey pair. Don't know if I can pull them off though.
 
Toms has a sweet thing going. For every pair sold, they will give a pair to a kid in africa in need of shoes. That makes me want to buy them even more.
 
my guys that I ski with wear black toms with levis 511's or whatever. If you wear like black skinny jeans or something you might be able to pull it off. I have a pair and LOVE them. SO comfty. She'll love them!
 
You could never wear them but I think you know that haha

If you're getting them for wifey I like the second pair the best :)
 
This, and I must admit I have a pair as they are a comfy option for summer footwear, as well as being good to drive in!
 
for the wife is a good idea, for you just get sanuks.

super light and comfy, look pretty sweet, and nice to have just to wear around the house or after skiing
 
Probably OK on a girl, but fugly on a guy. Can't stand the look of them, I think that Sanuks look much much better.

most comfortable shoe i have ever had, can rock them with or without socks and they held up for over a year of constant wear i am about to reup on a new pair. i would recomend them to anyone who likes comfort
 
Toms makes different styles than just those slipper types. I have a pair of these:

I don't wear them that often, only on moderately formal occasions, but they are super comfortable.
 
Here's an idea: buy a pair of shoddy canvas shoes for half the price of Toms, wear them, then buy another pair and send it to someone who could use the shoes.
 
i bought some cheap knockoffs and they dont fit my feet.

apparently my feet are fat or these people have unrealistic feelings on how thin peoples feet are
