Tom Wallisch Vs. Will Wesson

Alright, so there's no debating that Tom is unreal on rails. But - and maybe I'm crazy here - I just think that Will Wesson could give him a run for his money if they were to ever go head to head in like a game of SKATE. Anyone else with me?
 
Tom is better. Yes Wesson is good and has a few unique tricks, but nowhere neat the rail game of wallisch. No one even comes close. Not even LJ. Wallisch threw tricks this year like urban 630 on , or right 4 pretzel 2, huge step up 2 on 2 out, and a nasty 8 out of an s rail.

But on a single rail, wesson could do some shit. Yeah tom sixed on but did you see wessons segment?
 
will is more creative but tom has more skill and "future spin" on rail type skill when it comes to rals and boxes. tom wallisch looks way more smooth too. both are great though but tom wallish is superior. wallisch wins.
 
There should be set up an competition where 10 different really skilled rail skiers could challenge Tom on a game of skate. And for every letter a skier gave tome the skier would get 100 dollar. So if you beat tom in the game you would get 500 dollar.

Some of toms sponsors must set this up for tom to prove how much better he is than anybody else and also get a ton of views on all of the battles!
 
The main objective in a game of skate like that is to not only do a real sick trick, but also land first try, so the likelihood of Wallisch doing a 630 on first try is not impossible, but challenging to say the least
 
In the full tilt x level 1 edit will does like 3 front swaps in a row or some crazy shit on an urban rail. The man is a wizard

Will had probably one of the best rail segments, in my honest opinion, of all time. Un-real wizardy. Wallisch was explosive. He did some nasty shit in Sunny, as well.
 
i actually think will would win if it was all rails. wallisch would throw technical tricks like right spins on and pretzels and all that, and will would do a lot of surface swaps, 50-50s, wizard tricks and lots of switch ups. i think will could hit a few of wallisch's tricks but wallisch's competition training doesn't give him much of the creative stuff will does.

but it would be close and epic. i really want to see this.
 
Personally think Will would win. He's SO consistent and tech it's ridiculous. In a game of standard park rails I think Will would win but on gnarly rails or superpark type features like huge cannons and gap to boxes etc Tom would win
 
I was worried when Stept was dropping theirs so slow that they were going to run out of time. Then sheepishly realized they can make them all year between Hood and New Zealand. Why not drop them this slow, it stretches out the novelty and will make the finals that much more of a big deal.
 
Agree very much that more games of skate like this if it ever happened would be so dope to see. i think it would be cool as well to see them play skate on a set up like the one in Spin to win with Lj and Will i believe. Making them get even more creative then they already are would be awesome.
 
well, since Dew Tour on the east coast is history, let's replace it with a Tom vs Wil skate promo at a major East Coast resort, or maybe some kind of War of Rails spin-off except with a huge venue of pros. Fuck yeah!
 
Both are incredibly consistent on rails. I think if you could call a line of rail tricks then Wesson would have a good shot of giving Wallisch some letters.
 
I seriously doubt every shot tom wallisch gets in movies is done on the first time, skate is not the same.

lol must be trolling, will can throws some surface 3up,3 swap 2out on urban and tons of other sick trick like those. while sean is good but still really far from will
 
Wesson has way more overall tech skill then jordan.

However, Seany J goes hard in the paint and has some great style. Give him a couple years
 
They each have very different styles so its hard to compare them. Tom would win SKATE if jumps are included for sure, and although tom probably has overall more rail skill Will has some creative shit he brings to the table
 
Saying Wallisch's would automatically win, when it would be dead even for hours, is bullshit ill man up and say it. It could be either, Wesson's front sw to another front sw to Brittany is fucking unreal. Itd be a super great super close game.
