Everyone who is bitching about Travis deserving it more should shut up. It honestly does not fucking matter.

It's not like Travis wins anything for this anyway. Travis may deserve it more, but honestly, who cares. I don't know if anyone realizes this but probably 60 - 70% of the people voting in this bracket are from NS. No one really cares about this anyway.

I'm voting for Tom just cause I want hm to win this because he is a skier. I could care less who deserves it more. It's not like winning an olympic gold medal, it's an online bracket that absolutely no one cares about. Neither Tom nor Travis will lose/gain anything from losing/winning this.

 
but i wanna see Travis win. Sooooo he gets my vote. Also if Tom doesn't lose anything from this, if he loses. it wont matter so your argument is irrelevant
 
My point wasn't to tell you who to vote for.It was just an attempt to make people shut up who were talking about Travis deserving it more. Of course, vote for whoever you want to see win.
 
Wah wah wah Travis deserves to win blah blah blah. I don't see why everyone gets their panties in a bunch about this. Tom had an incredible year too, probably the best of any athlete I've seen in the contest. Pastrana, well, hasn't done much this past year, he was injured if I remember correctly. Why would you go against your own kin?

Vote Tom and support our sport. Simple as that. GET SKIING THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES. LETS MAKE A STATEMENT TO ESPN, AND THE WORLD THAT FREESKIING IS ONE HELLA AWESOME SPORT.

Thats ridiculous. You think travis gives a fuck about this poll thing? He's had so much exposure over his life this thing means nothing to him. This is about getting skiing recognition, especially to a place like espn.
 
Just give someone who gets less recognition a chance to climb the ladder a little. Just vote for Tom and give our sport a little more recognition
 
Here is a novel idea: How about people support the athlete they think deserves to win?

I would support Sean Petit, Aurelion Ducroz, Sage, Kye, Candide and maybe a couple of others against Travis Rice. I will not support Wallisch against Rice, because what Rice did just dwarfs anything Wallisch has ever done. The Art of Flight was insane, and park rats look like jokes next to that sort of shredding.

I also surf, and I would support Kelly Slater against Wallisch. Slater has won contests at Waimea Bay, Pipeline, J-Bay, and in sloppy beachbreaks. When Tom Wallisch wins a big mountain contest, or at least notches a great big mountain segment, I will vote for him.

Against Pastrana, I just might vote for Tom. He never should have gotten this far though.

 
I'm kind of sick of you hipsters all voting for travis. if you love dirtbiking so much then why don't you go chill on pinkbike or something instead of letting the rest of NS know that you didn't vote for who NS wants to win.

Travis can't even double cork. think about that.
 
first off pinkbike is not a moto site. secondly, Travis deserves to win. being great at multiple high profile sports (much higher profile than skiing) takes a ridiculous amount of talent. NASCAR, Freestyle Moto, motocross, rally cars, and everything else he does is nuts. I know you definitely don't know this, but Travis actually skis too. Or at least did in the past. On the old Nitro Circus DVDs, before they ever made it a tv show, Travis actually puts down a double backflip on skis, something probably less than 1 or 2% of the members of this site can do (not claiming i can do one, i definitely can't). Im not hating on TWall, he kills it, the best comp park skier in the game today. But in a larger scheme of things, he doesnt compare to pastrana, or travis rice. Those guys are on a complete different level. Tom could be there someday, but he is not right now. Like someone has already said, someone like sean pettit, richard permin, sage, or several others would be a great choice as well, but still, nothing comes close to pastrana or rice.

i support our community just as much as everyone else, if not more.. But i voted travis and i feel he deserves it way more.

what's wrong with that?
 
Fuck voting for Travis, he's sick and everything,but come on lets give freeskiing and Tom a bit of recognition. 55-45 for Tom.
 
On credit an merit the respect definitely goes to Pastrana

On the fact that ESPN controls airtime based on popularity and $$$ (aka shaun white commercials out the ass) I had to vote for Tom. Maybe the corporate goons at ESPN will see the numbers and say hey, maybe there's an audience in this skiing thing. We should include them in things like prime time and x-games street
