Come on dude. I skied with George when I was younger and can assure you he is a 100% genuine and cool dude. He won the FWT as a rookie bud. Saying that Wallisch should win just because he's Wallisch is just stupid. Vote4George, he earned it this year and is a better skier than 99.99% of this entire website.

Sidenote, I know you're only 12 so you don't understand this, but Candide is the best ever.

K man, there is no doubt that George Rodney is a great skier. But Wallisch has been cranking out edits, and is one of the smoothest in the game. He is simply the best at urban, and he is so stylish. He deserves skier of the year more than anyone.

You can't compare different types of skiers and saying they are the best ever. I can tell you Wally is not the best free ride skier and vice versa for george.

This is true. Until Wallisch does something in the big mountain arena I won't vote for him for anything. Anyone who votes for Wallisch is missing out on a major part of skiing. In fact, they are missing out on the main reason most ski bums stay ski bums. I guess I should be happy, more pow for me.

George Rodney impresses me a whole lot more than Wallisch.
 
Tom wallisch the pretzel man? The king of afterbang? There is no way he can lose. unless it is just for the year because to me Good Company wasn't that good. But over his career he is one of the best in my mind.

I can't vote to be honest.....this is like the opposite of next years presidential election with so many bad poople running...to many good candidates.

Maybe that was a bit of a blanket statement, but If you don't agree that Candide is the greatest skiier on that list, I'd like to hear your opinion.
 
Even though it's an impressive feat to win the FWT as a rookie, why should a somebody that I've never heard of prior to this contest win Skier of the Year? I've never heard his name in other events, nor in any online content. To be fair, I don't pay much attention to that scene, but I do know that Kim Boberg had a pretty fantastic year. He's been getting my daily vote
