travis heed is in reality not that good, there are riders at my hill that are just sa good at rails as him, maybe not as much steeze but are just as good skill wise, and they can jump too...heed doesnt need more props. as for zach davison, he fuckin rocks. I think he had the only segment in booter crunk i legitimately enjoyed and he was dope in war. i think he needs way more props than he is getting, which isnt much. this guy should have a fuckin pro model by now. i talked to him last year at a railjam and he was so fuckin chill, way wicked guy

personally i think it was his choice not to be on AM or PRO team

he just wants to do his own thing
 
yeah, shiller is just on their AM team, he should be pro and davison at least deserves AM

I'm actually going to stay the fuck out of this one, for the most part. The apples oragnes lemons analogy was golden. It's a contract. Just beacuse he blew up quick, placed well, or had movie segments, dosne't mean he can just boost his contract in the middle of it.

Just go back, read what Ar-Six wrote and McKeenman(or something of the sort I forget it's spelling) and let it be done with.

And to anyone talking shit on Heed, you've got it all wrong. Most of your assumptions you guys are making are based off the fucking free video segment you all checked on google video...skodeo7 said it recently...most of that seg looks like it was shot in a day or two...

Amanda you only made that statement about Heed because that set hates you/h30...
 
i definetly agree. davison is crazy sick, tons of tech stuff on park rails/urban, and loads of sick backcountry jumps too.
 
Don't even get going on that wack mother fucker, Zack is for FUCK SURE better than paradise, as a matter of fact I would go as far to say that Paradise is THE wackest "pro" skier, and thats just his skiing, personality wise the kid is about as cool as two men buttfucking,

that just summer up progression to the t. tanner hall isnt progressive because he throws the smoothest shit, he just happens to have the most steeze. someone like Candide or Charles Gagnier or Lolo deserves to be most progressive, coming up with shit like the corked 810 on and the 270 caribou out and the cab 630 on, thats progression.

That being said, have you ever noticed how in every shot of Zach ever he looks like hes squeezing out a loaf or something? so fuckin funny. I complimented him on it one day and laughed.
 
haha When I was at Mt. Seymour for young gun I tried flat 5 on some natural hip type thing and made Zach go "What the fuck?!"

Zachs a good skier and gets mad props. Every time i see him in a video part hes always got the biggest smile on his face.
 
Armadas sponsership thing is wack. Their ams are better than their pros. schiller owns all even thall. Davidson should be pro though, but it shows that going pro is way harder than it was even 3 years ago.
 
well we really dont know about what armada does for zach but i agree i think that it is alittle unprofessionl about what thier doing but there os many good riders out there and it just a really tought business to get reconzied

Am or Pro has nothing to do with how good you are.

JP Auclair could give a fuck else about throwing a switch 1440 and Armada likes it like that. They have TJ to do that.

Is TJ gonna go pro? Certainly, but he's gotta put the same work in that everyone else did.

Just because you make great numbers when you first start out doesn't mean a company puts you as a Vice President or something automatically.
 
its obvious that zack has been putting in tons of work skiing as demonstrated by his 3 segments in major movies last year. in no way did i ever say zack should be made vice president of armada or whatever sarcastic position in the company u were trying to express, i just think zack should be on there website or listed as one of their professional skiers instead of a flow stuck in the ranks with kim lamarre and phil casabon (although phil has been killing it this season so it may not be too terrible to be recognized as an equal too him :))
 
No no man you misunderstood me. I didn't mean that Zach isn't working hard as hell. But be real dude, JP, Julien, T-Hall have been in the game forever.

Zach is a badass skier and I totally respect him and his approach, but he's just not very well known. His segments got great feedback, he's blowin up big, and he's gonna get noticed, but in perspective, he can't be on Armada's Pro team all of a sudden when the rest of Armada's Pro team is a bunch of freestyle legends...

and the analogy was going from a low position(flow team, low level businessman) to a high position(Pro team, vice president) instantaneously.
 
it smells like a marketing ploy to me. i would bet that all of those armada "am's" have a better financial package than "pros" at other companies. by calling TJ an "am," or zachd a "flow rider" armada boosts its prestige. i doubt that zachd just gets skis, or that TJ doesn't get a salary.
