as many of you know, i have cancer and have a lot of down time/mellow chilling time now, and ive been playing diff instruments throughout my childhood. recently as a gift i got an ovation acoustic bass(bass has been my primary instrument throughout) and im literally cant put it down

i was wondering, has anyone else played an electric instrument, loved it, then later went acoustic? i have always loved bass, but its like a whole new light has been shed on my music. longlong way to ask a question, but i was wondering

I used to play bass a lot too, and found acoustic guitars/bass soo much fun, if you can somehow get ahold of one of the huge stand-up basses they use for classical music and stuff they are a ton of fun to play/mess around on and sound really cool.
But yeah, acoustic is really fun to mess around with for sure.

yeah, i used to play electric guitar but now i play acoustic most of the time. partially because my amp sucks, and partially because the acoustic is so much more natural and down to earth feeling to play
