To the haters of the new Brogan edit.

Seriously, people on this website need to make up their minds. I can't even count how many times i've seen people say in threads "I'd rather see a steezy 7 than a hucked sw.10" which is exactly what Brogan does. He does tricks dripping with style and people still bitch. You may think the afterbang is rediculous but thats a whole different argument, and personally, I like afterbang and stuff but thats beside the point.

The edit was PIMP.
 
ya also agreed. Brogan doesn't even bang, it's like something different altogether. It's that steezy carve away he does
 
another note, people on this website should learn to ski before spitting game

most kids on here cant do a decent 3 or 5 with a grab or mob powder, but think afterbanging a shitty front 270 off means there the next t-wall
 
willyummm is right... call it what you will but his rideaway or "after bang" just shows that he is extreamly in control and has motha fuckin swaggggga... it looks good and it makes shit flow well.

LET ME EXPLAIN!

I honestly don't think anyone is trying to deny that Brogan is a baller. His tricks are flawless, he has really sick carve-bang, and no doubt he's a better skier than i will ever be.. We just want to see him progress a little more, thats all. You know, do things like spinning unnatural, and maybe doing a few different grabs. That edit, although very sick, looked just like all of the footy i've seen of him from last year..
 
The thing with Brogan, which has been said before, is that the tricks he's doing in the air are always the same, the grabs, nothing is ever different. Yeah, he's a good skier and I'm not taking anything away from that, but when you're seeing him throw the same tricks over and over it gets pretty repetitive.
 
i think we're all starting to realize you need more than just afterbang to be a legit pro. But brogans afterbang is plenty good enough for the world of amateur edits with lil'wayne beats.

im sure the kid is not done progressing we will see what happens now that he is going to be out of high school...

kida got grown man stlye but i dont hink ive ever seen him spin left...
 
the kid is still in grade school, give him a break "he does the same tricks over and over again", wait till he goes to college and skis at a resort that is higher than 4000' in elevation, then he will be doin double flips like its nobody's business, but for now... SHUT UP and watch him. /rant
 
I'm not hating on the tricks hes throwing. They're sick no doubt. what I hate was the rediculous amount of afterbang he threw in there. It was sickening
 
i wasnt hating on him when i said it was sick but nothing new.... thats just an opinion.... yeah id like to see steezy 7s, but i dont want to see the same edit throwin down by the same person each year.... you still gota progress
 
what i think people mean about this "hate" is that he did the exactly same shit in his last edit. would be nice to see something different, maybe he should suck up and start spinning unnatural.

well every edit (that ive seen) is really short and almost the same tricks in every one. thus making it boring and not increasing my opinion on brogan

We already know brogan can 4 off of a flat rail and abang the shit out of his natural spins.

How about some rodeos, not doubles, just normal rodeos. Unatty spins would be a plus too. Handrails? I just feel like we need to see something different then last year. which was mostly park jumps and rails.

With all that said his style is fucking silly (that's a good thing).
 
Fo sho for jon brogan to get better he doesn't have to huck himself he can just learn some other grabs like you said or some unnatural spins.
 
How do you know he hasn't? It was a fucking 1 minute edit with flawless tricks. Maybe he hasn't perfected his new tricks but who cares either way. The kids got style and talent. And you know a person is good when he's got a pack of haters.
 
Also I doubt Brogan was even trying that hard in that edit. Then again, it always looks like he isn't trying
 
Yeah man, that shit is beyond afterbang. It's like afterbang that's been out tripping all night.
Brogan is the most styley skier right now, in the air, on rails, and on landings.
So silence, haters.
 
I have two things
1. I haven't read any hate yet. NONE. Plenty of people said the edit was nothing new or he needs to progress or they don't like afterbang. No actual hate though, just opinions, which is what he should have expected by posting it in the forums.
2. The argument that the "haters" are making is simply that they want to see progression out of a super-unknown winner who has much more in the way of opportunities now. Fair?
 
I would say that's a fair argument, but from a 1 minute edit, you cant tell how much he's progressed. He just put in a small vid with super dialed tricks. And to all the people who want him to spin both ways, im pretty sure in the ignancy2 he spins both ways. (i could be wrong though, i watched it a while ago)
