To much speed or not enough speed

well they would both definitly suck, i guess overshooting cuz it if its on camera you look way more badass than someone that undershoots it

good question i would rather overshoot a gap but indershoot a big table nothing hurts more then over shooting a big table

casing a jump is wayyy beter, overshooting means you have more force. They both are horrible, exspecialy on slushy days when you huck a cork on a table and case it before you finisehd your cork and just launch off the case and your body just rolls down the landy all limp

Take it from me guys. You would much rather over shoot. It's been 4 months allready and my heels don't feel any better. It might take an entire year to heal said one of my doctors. I'm going to see another doctor this next week to see if I need cortazone(sp?) shots in my heels. I'm praying I can ski this winter

last year i cork 7ed this table on my first hit wich liek isn't hard cuz normaly i hit this jump but it was solid ice and windy so i didn't have enuff speed. haha i endup casing right on the knuckel and bit through my lip. oo and even worse i dub ejected. id say casing is worse

i'd rather overshoots, i hate landing short, kills my heels for a few days, can hardly walk. overshootin just leads to some skiers thumb or a fucked up wrist for me. and i have a lot better chance not falling when i overshoot

id rather undershoot. last time i overshot i bruised bones in my hand and got back spasms. was off skiing for 5 weeks

if you overshoot, you have farther to fall to the ground - if you case, your not going as far. i'd rather case. just as longs as its not a switch 9 at chad's...

i had a few cortazone shots into my knee last year, i've had acl surgery mcl surgery and lateral maniscus surgery al done seperately over the last 5 year...i'm only 21 this shit shouldn't have happened already

I would agree with spencer here. I think that landing short NOT SPINNING is better because you can kind of compress yourself, and be realistic, you are never really that high unless your pro. But Spinning I would rather go farther because you have more time to pray

YES! i hate spinning and cumming up short if u spin and overshoot u finish ur rotation and u mite not land it but u could land it bakseet on a table u wont lqnd it

true, so very sture. at my nountain osme guy bombed the whole hill to get speed for it and het got so much air his waist was above the lift line and he cleared the jump by like 60 of 90 feet, NO JOKE i was on the lift and i saw it happen

if it was a table jump id definitely rather case even if it was a 100 footer and missed the landing by 5 feet

as long as your arnt crazy short you can usually do a controled crash to slide down taking out most the impact. way better then falling to flat from even higher. Overshooting doesnt mean taking it to the bottom 1/4 of the landing it means being past any type of landing(simon dumont)

I wouldn't wanna pull a "my ankles are broken"

but it seems that when I case a jump early in the day it ruins the rest of my day because my feet/ankles hurt like fuck. And usually at my hill it's hard to overshoot, come to think of it I probably only had to worry about overshooting a few times last year.

haha yeah wachusetts knuckles suck.

overshooting is def better, just because u overshoot doesnt mean ur going to land on a totally flat surface like when u case a jump. i dont no if that makes any sence to anyone but me.

this is the real question!!!! would you rather overshoot like simon or case like candide?????? i would have to say over shoot because simon fucking launched off that table but both were crazy falls

dunno ive cased 70 foot tables and overshot 60 foot tables so i go about 85ft and id personally much rather case... overshot just plain hurts cause its like casing just theirs much more force and generally your much higher from the ground.

the only problem with caseing a jump is you look retarded, when you go huge and overshoot, falling is not that big a deal cause you look like a complete dare devil

well it depends on the size of the jump and what style and where (pipe, park......MOGULS)

but in general id rather undershoot, but overshooting looks wwwaaayyy cooler

really depends on the jump if you undershoot something like candide did youd probly wish you overshot but i bet simon wishes he undershot the one he overshoot ya?

generally 'd rather undershoot, unless it's a gap, which was mentioned. But with undershooting you can bounce off the knuckle and then down the landing which can suck.

overshoot=broken legs or head slam

case=bruised ankles, broken AT MOST. whoever says overshoot is a moron

id rather overshoot because when you case you don't really expect it as much and your still doing your tick, therefore you can't prepare your body to fall. When you overshoot you see it coming and you can make it so you don't get hurt just absorb the impact as much as possible and fall to your side. If your casing it way more intense even though theres less force.
