We ask that you use this thread to link us to the things that should be deleted when there happens to be no active mods. If there is a mod online who is active, please send them a PM instead. Until the 'flagging' system is implemented, this is what we have for now. (thanks for a quick solution to deal with the right meow Brieb)

This thread is not to be abused. If you do, obviously there will be consequences. With the way the forum is going these days, bans and deletions will become more harsh until you can understand that this is not just another website on the internet to mess around with. Its a website that was created to bring together the ski culture community and the people who are involved and those who hold the passion. The individual enjoyment you get from breaking the rules and testing our patience runs thin, and you're going to steer this website to be strict, when it shouldn't have to be.

This thread will also give us a better idea of what the mass thinks should be deleted/enforced. We appreciate the links and heads up we get from our members, so this thread is an extension of that.

Use your discretion and we appreciate the involvement.
 
you should certainly sticky this bad boy. i often come across threads that are really silly and should be deleted but can't find a mod!

Yeah I was thinking that too. Otherwise we'll be checking things too many time to be linked to nowhere.
 
This is a good system, so all the links that were posted were deleted - now just keep the ball rolling and don't post shit
 
I try to go through every morning to delete things that don't belong. Give some credit. Otherwise that section WOULD be bad.
 
i'd just like to come in here and say i think this is a good idea, props to everyone who had something to do with it. im sure ill be back soon with a link, but i usually just pm ashley
 
how do u know if a thread that you made has been deleted?i think one of mine may have been; either that or NS just doesnt want me to see it/find it...
 
out of complete curiosity, why was the thread "It's Firday, what are you doing for the weekend" deleted?

unless someone posted scat porn that I didn't see, why??

I don't know if you guys are doing this already and they just pop up that fast but can you please be more diligent about deleting the "help me win this contest OMMMMGGGGG +KKKKKKKK" threads? I haven't be on here that long but I think this is one of the more destructive leaches to the NS community. Very seldom are they warranted. If you are, can you dish out some bans?

well maybe you should appoint a mod thats on really late or something, like an asian thats in a diff time zone. The shit posted yesterday pissed me off, and i really didnt need to see that. I also think that the sillies posted in NSG shouldnt be perma/IP bannable offenses, as those things are just little sillies, and NSG is fun in that sense. For example the sinks thread that that superpoluha character posted was funny, and people had some funny poasts, yet he received a permaban, and the thread was up for like 5 hours after his ban. Come awn now! Thats just powertripping! i know the internet isnt "fair" and all but thats a mod that ate some meanies for breakfast. Be more professional (alot of you are) and lets have fun with newskewlerz! :D
 
all im saying is that just because someone makes a thread about something stupid at 1AM with 200 members online, and the thread has funny responses, i dont think that really renders a permaban. If its stupid and no one responds to it, it goes into the abyss of old threads. Otherwise, if its not offending anyone in particular or calling an individual member out in a negative way, i dont think it should really matter. Bans shouldnt be that common. I mean gnarton!? COME ON the dude was such n interesting NS personality, keeps the site interesting! dont just permafry them! not cool man
 
There was an MDMA drug thread and he posted a pic of a chick that ripped her face off while high as a kite on it.
