I failed my G test for 'running a yellow light'. it was such bullshit. I was slowing down to make a right turn and just just before I got to the intersection the light turned yellow and there was a car right behind me so instead of jamming on the brakes and having the car crash into me I kept going through the light and continued my turn. Even if I had tried to stop as soon as the light turned yellow I would have been well into the intersection. then in big bold letters in the reason for fail spot he wrote "FAILED TO STOP FOR AMBER LIGHT". I wanted to punch the fucker. I tried arguing it after and he kept saying "I was the passenger and I could see better than you". I should have told him to just get out of my car and walk back to the place right then and there.

in ontario we have graduated licensing.
you can get your g1 when you turn 16, and you can only drive with someone who has had a full lisence for 4 year and a bunch of other stupidass rules.
then you wait 1 year (8 months if you complete drivers ed) and do your g2 so you can drive by yourself.
i dont know how long you have to wait to get your G, but it's pretty much the same as your g2 except you can drive at any time in the day and you can have between 0 and 0.08 alc level if you're over 22.
it's pretty shitty but i guess we have less accidents or some shit like that
