only 7% of muslims identify as sympathising with terrorist groups. By grouping all muslims into this category you are burning bridges with the remaining 93%.

The Quran is not some sort of manifesto for terrorists. hell even the bible has parts in the new testament about stoning gays, adulterers and the like.

oh and: OBAMA IS NOT A MUSLIM. how many times do sane people have to say that before the 23% who think he is finally see the truth?

If this percent is true, then we as Americans should be worried. Not that this will happen really soon. Muslims are rapidly coming into America, and this is the future we face. I've always thought that England was a picture of America in about 10-20 years. Right now England has some areas of the law governed by Shari'a law and Muslims are pushing to have whole regions of the country completely under Shari'a law. Now, I'm not against the people that choose to subscribe to this religion, but the true motives behind it are scary and something to be aware of.

the prophet muhammad killed 200+ jews by his own hand in the service of allah, as stated by the Qu'ran. muhammad pioneered sharai, in which stoning is a punishment for adultours women.

Jesus aka Joshua son of Joseph told people to help each other out and that is how you serve god, as stated by the new testiment. When Jesus was presented with an adulerous women and asked to stone her he just used some common sense and made peace.

Which examples seem dangerous. I am not commenting on either ones devine providence, but following which example would more likely result in violent behavior.

P.S. the old testiment sucks and is not implied when talking about the teaching of jesus.

I live half the year in Saudi Arabia and Abu Dhabi. I know what's up. Muslims/Arabs are cool as shit. It's just their regressive everythingobic/ist regime that sucks. But really, it's not as bad as people make it out to be.

7% is actually a pretty damn large amount, especially for siding with terrorists. i dont like religion in general, but i dislike islam more than most.

wake up and smell the roses. religion is engraved into us and is probably the most basic and true indication of our extreme NECESSITY for war. how else can we raise to a higher civilization, one where people see a simple political ploy, aka the starting basics of christianity, for what it mainly was.

war helps us in innumerable ways, from technological advances to "culling the herd." survival of the fittest. it's so tightly knit into human DNA that I doubt we could even survive without war in our lives, or at least vicious violence of some kind.

give me concrete evidence the god does not exist. your faith in a belief where there is no god is just as strong as someones faith in god.

You may disagree with religion philisophically, which is fine, but to claim that religion is a disease is wrong and an insult to faithful members of church's who work everyday to make out society better. Most churches have money saved up to support their members in time of disaster, we need them to bring our communities together in time of need.

i have to agree.

my deal is, muslims can be cool, but i dont want islam to have any power over anything.

thats how i feel about any religion though, church and state need to be wholly seperated.
 
All religions are fucked, but Islam is the most fucked of the major religions. For that reason it is dangerous.

maybe you should take a look at where the christian right and the likes of mr beck would like to take this country. just as scary, and a lot more likely to actually happen.
