To al you 21+ members

I would usually agree with you^ but I just read a steven wilson interview and I'm in a very critical mood right now when it comes to music. I just think that a lot of artists could take their music and lyrics a lot farther than they do. Imagine if lil' wayne slowed down and put a ton more time into one album, and just worked on it a ton, made it a full-on conceptually based rap album, with multimedia to go along with it? Like take a look at Pink Floyd's The Wall. There is such an incredible depth of different forms of media surrounding it, could you imagine if every artists took their music that seriously and put that much into it? It would be absolutely amazing.
Anyways, not trying to hate on lil' wayne, I can respect what he does but I think he has more potential and thats the only reason I would ever criticize him or any other recording artist. Its not so much a matter of that they're terrible, but that I think they could be even better than they are now.

this thread was about older kids talking about how they found music before the internet age.

now its kids that were born after 1995 posting what they listen to.....

I'm not that old, but anybody remember singingfish.com? You used to be able to download music from it, but it got absorbed into aol.com last time I checked.

I've always thought this was bull. I mean, full on autotuned choruses, no way it is just "freestyled." Lil' wayne is a terrible artist anyway. I feel like I'm saying that dog shit smells more like poop than horse shit
