Tips on how to make a good edit?

hey guys, i was going to make an edit from my trip down to Liberty University Snowflex, and was wondering if anyone had some small tips to making edits that would be helpful to a novice like me.

with dryslopes you're gonna want to keep it short, there's not many features and everythings the same, I personally hate timelapses of the uplifts, think it just ruins the videos, try to get lots of different angles and don't repeat the same trick over and over,

 
i totally second this, maybe try to get some lifestyle shots, but not long shit like timelapses during 10 secs, it ruins often the video,
 
Agree on keep it short. Show the skiers as real people at first, not just wanna be gangsters all masked up.
