Tips on flatspin

well i am not amazing at them. but...I think a really strong pop is key, and as you pop make sure to really open up your chest. I think a japan helps. Plus make sure you are not just throwing it like a backie or you will just underflip

Make sure you've got the flip down solid on the trampoline. If you're having trouble landing them and you feel like you're doing everything alright but tipping over on the landing make sure you get a solid pop of of BOTH FEET. When you try to make it really flat you tend to roll off the jump with all your weight on one side. If you take off the jump unbalanced you'll land unbalanced.

That's the hardest part about flat 5. Everything else is easy because you're staring at the landing the whole time.

You wanna takeoff kinda backflip, but your hips going diagonally instead of vertically. Winding up helps. So, if you spin leftside naturally, you'll be popping then throwing your hips diagonally left up. You'll be thrown into that "flat" axis, and from there lean right, spin left.
