So I was going into this blob/ pillow thing to do a 1 to nosebud 1 and went WAY too fast. I think it looks sick until I ate it. Any tips to land on my feet?

We can’t really give you tips for a cork 3 of you only got 5 feet of air, a cork 3 is a floaty trick if you don’t do it on a decent size jump you’re just setting yourself up for failure and asking to learn bad habits

You got the set right for a cork 3. You’re twisting/bailing out of it.

like bland z said. Bring it to a bigger groomed jump, focus on the carve in, and hold a grab to be patient for it to come around. Try getting a light wobble first and add more and more invert to it.

Can you help me with mine? Why am I coming out of the cork 3 so backseat? Every once in a while I land well, but most of my landings are very backseat. Sorry for bad video lol

Most likely because you arent stacked. For cork 3’s your upper and lower body should never disconnect. You wanna be as squared up as possible, go check out a pros cork 3 and see how squared up they are

Not sure if this is of any help, but it seems like during the peak of your cork 3, where people say "it should feel like putting your skis on a wall in front of you..." the base of your skis are facing straight downhill, whereas most cork 3s I see, their feet and body stay in this position all the way to 270 rather than 180, where the base of their skis are almost facing to the left of the landing.

Don't get me wrong you are doing a cork 3, but may need a little bit of an orbital rotation in the mix so you don't come out of the spin too early.

Notice how in this image, his bases are pointing towards the dotted blue line rather than straight down hill, he holds this position until 270 and then comes out of the rotation, where it seems you stay on the same plane at 180 (solid arrow), thus, when you come out of the spin, you're leaning back rather than forward.

Hard to tell what you’re doing on the in run…. But yea you need to keep your shoulders and hips connected like blandz said. That will fix the urge to counter rotate during the spin to hold balance and bail out.

the back seat landing is because you’re not popping enough and setting back. Just like tramp tricks you have to come up with your set.

I like to practise popping/ coming up with the set on trampoline by doing 1 and a half misty to back. If you’re over rotating and landing on your hip, it means you’re not setting the rotation upwards

dont get discouraged. Most skiers have a tough time with this. Women actually have to learn to upward set to cork because of the lower centre of gravity. They usually do a really good job at it. Watch some women skiers

It should look like one smooth movement pretty much until the landing.

You can see in your video you have the set, at the peak of your air, there is a jerky motion where you alter the spin to land on your back.

I wasn't exactly expecting that to happen as it was not the intention. :) all I did was drop a shoulder, and then panic at the unexpected airtime.
