last year i was learning 720's and im starting to learn them again this year, can anyone give me some tips on how i can learn them?

focus on keeping your chin touching the shoulder in the direction to spin (eg spinning right = chin to right shoulder) until you can spot your landing. Remember to pop!

theyre scary but they arent super tough once you commit. i landed my first 720 first try /claim. make sure you get a good pop and keep your head looking until 720, and you should be golden.

another tip but less helpful, just make sure you try on a big enough jump; giving yourself plenty of time for the rotation..

Stay on the balls of your feet when you set the spin. When learning bigger spins people forget all about the basics. They wind up like crazy and just send it. If you're not leaning forward when you pop you'll end up either backseat or sideways.

Someone told me once, "Think of it as attacking the jump. Lean forward aggresively when you pop and set the spin." It kind of goes with any feature. Tell yourself, "I'm gonna slay this hit." Then lean forward and kill it.

if you can spin fives well than a 7 is really pretty easy. A 1 and a 3 have the same pop, you just spot later. The same is true of a 7, its really just an overrotaed 5. Everything ppl have said about comitting and what not is true, just dont look for your landing until your already at 5, keep you head turned and dont open up

not that hard a trick. make sure you are trying them on a decent to large size jump, they are stupid and pussy to whip around on tiny jumps. make sure you keep looking over your shoulder, and spot the landing. my one biggest tip is to stay forward, they are super easy to cork out and land backseat. make sure you pop forward off the lip and keep your hands forward, don't reach for your grab to early. grab leading safety to stay balanced and help the rotation come around. carve in for steeze.

Many peoples have problems landing 7 backseat. Do a good Pop off your toes, spin 4 Pi radians, grab, keep your head up and stomp it!

Great advice...When I first learned them I would either land super backseat, or end up accidentally corking at about 540 and wrecking every time. Then I started actually working on popping forward and now they come real easy.
