Tips for summer setup

Ok so heres the deal, the season in Aus has well and truly ended, so a couple friends and i are looking for an easy way to go about building a backyard jib as our budget isn't all that high.

I've got the basics of building the jib sorted but i was just looking for some tips that would make out time building the jib easier. (E.g using less materials for the drop in and alternatives for turf as it can be expensive)
