so ive got probably a six foot roll in covered in astro turf, just jacked it up another footish but is still super slow. it worked fine covered in snow but since its all melting it hard to maintain sufficient amounts of snow to aquire enough speed to casually slide my rails. It works...but not great so is there any sudgestions to increase the speed. Shampoo + H20 works but i want to find somthing that allows me to ski without thje use of water, water = mud and mud is shitty so

HELP a brotha out, its 420 be nice!

people on my thread said that dry dead leaves on top of the turf works. im dying to try it

Okay well if you are looking to slide without water chances are it wont work. I hate to say that but it wont. Think about it. If you try to ski on your carpet in your house you go no where fast. You need to use water and Tide laundry detergent. IT works really well and when the turf is wet it goes real fast. I know you dont want to use water, but in reality you have to. I mean you could try snow fence on top of the turf. but i have never used that and i couldn't tell you how it worked from personal experience. I hear good things though. Good luck!

Yes I believe there are a few people in here that have done it and it appears very successful. You want to make sure that you have turf at the end where you take off for the rail though because you can control your skis going over the PVC. And I am not 100 percent sure if you even have to cut it in half, i think you can just screw it into the in run

You can also look at snow gel if you want to. I have never used it but what I have seen in edits and heard it seems to work pretty good and I think it lasts quite a while. Only down side is the price...

Heres a link to one of the websites: http://www.snowgel.com/
