I have a tiny chip on the sides of my PE's, a bit bigger than a pen tip, but slightly noticeable. it goes deep enough that it exposes a little bit of core.

should I be worried?? should i fill it somehow???

I usually just drop a little bit of super glue in tiny gouges like that and it seals it up nice within a few minutes

couldnt get good pics because the damage is so small

but here goes:

that isn't a core shot, that is a top sheet chip that got to the core, core shots are in the base...Your sidewalls and top sheets look amazing though, you must take great care of your skis...You could fill that with epoxy pretty easily, and it would because that could get wet and start eating away at your core...

ohh, i assumed a core shot was a chip anywhere on the ski that has gotten down to the core. you learn something everyday i guess :P

what kind of epoxy, does it matter??

and thanks i do try to take good care of my skis, ive only been out 5 or 6 times this year tho, thats why they look so good.

sorry for the double post...

i think ill just use some ptex, if it gets worse, then ill fill it with epxoy

thanks guys

haha
yeah thats just a little chip. my disorderlys probably have a dozen of those, theres a part with few cms of sidewall basically gone. theres no core exposed just some hard plastic-y stuff. yeah props if you can keep your PEs in that good condition all season.

haha i have a pair of the same year PE's and they look terrible compared to yours.. gnarly core shots on the bottom and top sheet chips all the way through on top and on the sidewalls... seal em up and keep rippin
