so yall know the edollo super fun lookin ski but they are the least durable armada ski ive ever seen after 3 weeks of ridin (6 sessions 3 of which i had a blown knee for) my tips split and were startin to delam. am i the only one who had this prob or is every one else spending 800 dollers for a couple weeks of riding to

is quality truly an issue of Armada skis? I always believed their brand to have an acceptable quality. I am actually currently debating on purchasing their ARV96 or ARV106, but hearing things like this makes me doubt my choice. Is this an issue only with the edollos or with the brand in general?

My 16’ edollos have about 140 days on them, edges in surprisingly good condition. The caveat of that being while I ride park every day I ski, I am not pushing it as hard as I used to. Doing tricks I’ve done for many years and generally not too hard or contact with disasters etc. no cracks yet. Whereas my old domains and chronics are missing segments and have many cracks. All were aggressively detuned. For a casual park skier the dollos have held up surprisingly well for me despite all the bad things I have read. Now I have one tip beginning to separate because I fucked up a spin out and wacked the tip against the rail. Some epoxy and no worries. Kind of put off of armada by the reviews but they have been good to me. Got my money’s worth out of them for sure. A very fun ski for my style too.

Ive heard its mostly the dollos their tips and tails are ultra thin and split real easy but ive seen ar7s last for 5 years plus dont get spooked off armada jus the edollo

Yes and no. They initially aren't that durable, but after they're fucked they hold up incredibly good.

For every Edollo (3 or 4, can't remember) I've had the tips have been busted and I've had to duct tape them within the first couple of weeks. On my current pair I have some delamination issues under foot (and both tips like stated before), and my earlier pair delaminated between the tail and binding (and both tips).

Other than the delamination issues they're pretty solid. Even though the edges aren't the thickest they hold up really good. All my top sheets and bases have been looking alright as well.

The attached pictures are my current pair that I ski every day I can. I would guess I've put ~80days on these, and ~30days with the delamination. The delamination is for sure getting bigger each day but I'm super impressed about how long they've managed to hold up with those issues. Notice that there's a bunch of snow pressed inside the ski on the pictures and I store my skis in a cold ski-storage (probably helps with the durability to not let them thaw in between uses?).
