Time Lapse Help (imovie hd)

The last two timelapses i have imported have had a common thing happen to them, when i import them they are split into clips of either 28 frames or 1 minute and 2 frames although that happens with all the timelapses i've imported and its not a problem.

but in the last two, when i put all of the clips together, one frame is missing in between each clip more or less wrecking the look of the timelapse. i need to know if this is some glitch or something that can be fixed,

it would also be nice to be able to import the timelapse as one long clip too instead of a bunch of 1 second clips.

the two timelapses have been set at 300 frames per second capture rate and 240 frames per second capture rate.

please help and massive karma shall be doled out to any help or answer

300 frames per second? wtf?

and im not sure you are doing this right... how are you speeding up the clips?

here is what i do when i am making a timelapse.... you import the original long clip to what ever editing system you are using, speed it up as much as it will go (which usually isnt enough) and render it... when it is done rendering(exporting) put it back intoo your editing system. if it is still not long enough follow the same process untill it is to what ever time you want...

PM me for further questions

sorry i kind of said that wrong, instead of 300 frames per second i mean 1 frame for every 300 frames. In the program i use to import it you don't import the full clip, it takes 1 frame for every x number of frames you set it too.

I'm not 100% sure since I don't use imovieHD that often but I know with the older versions sometimes it'll just add an empty frame for no reason. Either look in between every clip and delete the single frame or cut the last or first (whichever one it may be) frame out of each clip
Good luck

Solution- Import at the framerate you shot at and then speed it up. Dont fuck with importing 1 frame for every 300 shot. You are essentially taking one frame from every 10 seconds of video. Why would you do that?

Its basically just faking interval shooting and if he had like a 20 min clip it would make alot of sense for a time laps.
