I'm going to hood July 15th-20th and was wondering how the public park will be? Is it worth going? I was there June 20th and the park wasnt that good. Help would be appreciated. Thanks

as of now the park is getting moved underneath the pipe, so it should be fresh/ updated, and at least in the morning it will be pipe, jumps, rails, by afternoon youll prolly have to drop in from halfway up the pipe.

rumor has it they will try to leave otto lang (current public park) up for as long as poss. too but you have to hike up the little hill to get there

im from the east an plan on comin to hood, i dont know to much about the public park is timberline the only one and is there a website for it??

I will be going with a big group the 28th of July. Anybody know where it will be around then? I know the snow melts so you never really know. But i was wondering if it will be under The Magic Mile, and we will have to hike it or if it will be up at Palmer and we can just hit it on the lift all day.

The public park on mile definitely isn't lappable anymore. Most people are downloading, or going down the hiker's trail. But either way you're hiking the park.

say i didn't want to pay $52 a day to hike the park.

how long would it take to hike up to the park from the parking lot?

i feel a little hike is worth saving the money from that bitch move of a lift ticket.

public park is the bomb. i live at hood and it takes only 10-15 minutes to hike from the paring lot. do it. it is way worth the money. they parks are good year round you just have to get over the fact that the snow is a little dirty.
