Timberline - Palmer Mini Park - November 24

I cashed in some goodwill from long days and weeks over the summer to run over and check out the new mini park at the bottom of the Palmer during a long lunch break. The level of shred was really high as Messrs Carlson, Ellingson and Durtchi were all there throwing down. The park crew has set a ride on flat box, rainbow box, small spine, down rail, corrugated down pipe and a boulder jib and there are a number of other jibs sitting around waiting installation. I was also able to ride down to the parking lot (though I did hit a few non-snow objects on the way - no core shots ;) at the end of the session.
 
yeah i was up there all day yesterday. tons of fun. my first full day back on skis since april, and my first full day skiing out west. unfortunately i did suffer a coreshot and now must go heat up some p-tex..
 
that was a pretty cool set up, i was on my way through the canyon that ends up at the park and got a grande core shot, it was a good 3 inches long and a half inch wide
 
Glad to here y'all are enjoying our miniature set up. We'll try to do some more if it snows, just have to wait and see though. When riding down the canyon at the end of the day it's safer just to stop where the cats are parked and hike from there, or jus down load the mile, I know neither options are much fun.
