The argument (at least among intelligent people) isn't about his beliefs. It's about the CBS's precedent of not airing any political/controversial commercials during the Super Bowl.

Personally I thought the commercial was way too overhyped. If you didn't know what it was about going in to it, I doubt you would have caught on. But I still think CBS should have just not let it air to keep things PC.

Hell, CBS just denied NORML the opportunity to run a pro-marijuana ad on a big screen in times square. So they seem to be picking and choosing now.

Yes, they can. That's not what I argued. I'm saying that they've had a precedence of steering clear of anything not PC, no matter if they agreed with the subject or not. This is a rare occurrence for CBS and people are talking about it. If this is their new direction, fine. But people have a right to voice their opinion on this new direction and CBS should hear it.

the commercial alone was hardly noticeable, however, dove and one other company (car website? baby tiger add) capitalized on the hype, putting elements of the debate into their adds.

she made a choice. if anything people saying women should choose should be championing the fact that she made a choice. the choice was hers, she chose life. however, the choice she made was not the choice "pro choicers" wanted her to make.
