Tim Tam Tan Tien

What's the low down on that board? What's it good for and what's it bad for? I want to get it terribly badly, I have a Bustin Strike and I want a new ride. Thanks!

hey man, a buddy of mine has this board , and it has some ups and downs. Pros: very fun board to cruise on. Great grip tape, feels like your stuck on the board. Fun to do shovits with the kick tails. Good for sliding, and really meant for people 5 "8" and under.. Cons: Feels very short for a tall person, and im not a huge fan of the flex.. Otherwise, i would recommend going with the dervish
hope that helped

well my friend has a flex 2, i think, which is like meant for my weight (160) but i found it to be pretty stiff. I have the dervish and its honestly the perfect board. Perfect length, perfect cruiser, great for slides, ect.. Just wondering, how tall are you?

one of my friends has a dervish and one of my friends has a tan tien; dervish>tan tien... dervish rides so much more smooth and can handle any hills thrown at it. the dervish also slides like a boss. the tan tien seems really small, way too flexy, and the trucks are too loose. pretty good for sliding but not good for hills. bottom line: dervish is the more versatile board.
