Yo mods, wtf?

Sure, delete the nudes posted. But, not even allowing a discussion thread to exist is crazy. Most of the comments are supportive of the people suffering here - Tim and the all the girls. This is a really interesting event with respect to athlete sponsor relationship + people care about what happens to it.

If you're deleting all the threads to only post a news article about it, that'll be really fuckin lame.

These threads have been deleted by request, if Tim decides to post about this/talk we will let him do so otherwise we're staying out of it.

I really don’t understand what’s wrong with talking about it? I’m curious what’s going on with him? Can anyone give me a light version of what’s going on? Without getting this thread deleted?

Basically his phone got stolen or something similar and someone got a bunch of his pictures. Someone described them as "Rockstar" pictures and that's pretty much what they are. A bunch of naked girls, a few dick pix, a bunch of funny tuck between your legs shots of him. There seemed to be an angle that someone was trying to make a point about but I'm clueless to anything about his personal life so who knows what's real there.

Sucks for him and the other people, mostly women, in his photos. No one deserves that. However, we really should be able to talk about it and I don't really think that doing a personal favor for someone and stifling the communities discussion of it is really a good move for NS or any of the other websites that are doing it, apparently Unofficial Networks is censoring and a reddit thread got deleted too I believe.

Well it's all speculation at this point so that seems a little unfair don't you think?

individuals should be allowed to contribute pieces of information to help complete a bigger picture of what's going on. these forums are supposed to allow for that. protecting and censoring something like this - even something sensitive and scandalous - is a disservice to the community.

I agree with these posts 100% from the community prospective. We just want to know what is going on.

It is also really important to think about why things are like this. Professional skiers entire careers revolve around social media. Things like this have the potential to end peoples career and they need to be taken seriously. No false rumors should be spread. They are going to get the PR team rounded up and make a public statement hopefully. The facts need to be lined up and triple checked so this one event dosen't effect his future. Allowing this discussion to continue would inevitably have the internet trolls dig up all the shit and post it for kicks. Thats not what we want to happen.

It's because parents won't let their 14 year old kids sign up for the site if they don't think all skiers are saints. That's why NS deletes all talk of stuff like this or THall's dick pic or how Warnick died (even though it was being reported in the news), etc.
