big mistake on tims part. the band is shit. this just clarifies that lars is the man behind rancid

haha true true my droogie. but the real man behind rancid is matt freeman he has some of the best bass riffs out there. Personally i think he can give Les Claypool a run for the money.

lars and the bastards vindicated themselvs by naming the band the name they did. they had a few good songs... freeman rips the bass fa sho tho... and i have no desire to ever own a transp-lants cd... basically if the kids that work at the music store are into a band, i know not to listen to it, and sure enough, the other day i was in and one of em was sportin a transplants shirt... end of story. iv just decided to listen exclusivly to hot hot heat for the rest of my life.

 
lars and the bastards was a great band in my opinion. and the whole thing wher you dont like bands because certain people do is really weak. try them, and make your own decisions
