Tik tok snow maker

Two input valves, one for water (from a pressure washer) and one for compressed air. One output valve, you kinda have to find the balance between air to water output ratio and it’ll work. You also gotta have the right nozzle for an output.

Does the water temp and air temp have to be perfect too? Also do you know how long it takes to get a reasonable amount say a wheelbarrow full

Idk an exact water:snow volume ratio but I've heard the standard snow gun operates best at around 20ºF. Also, when resorts make piles, they're wet at first and have to sit to drain or else the snow won't have much volume and will become solid ice. I've also heard about bacteria being used to raise the freezing point of water since pure water on its own won't actually freeze solid at 32ºF

i built an at home snow maker last summer and pretty much you need a water pump, an air compressor, and the correct nozzles. there are forums on the internet such as snowguns.com filled with helpful ppl and info on how to make your own.

mine runs 5.5 gallons per minute. makes a large amount of snow even in marginal temps
