Tight pants

they cant weld, they are not manly enough to do so. just the fact that they sew there pants to be tight shows that they are womenly because they participate in arts and crafts... and everyone knows arts and crafts is for little girls.

ever seen anyone fly with baggy pants? peter pan was one of the best flyers in history, AND he never grew up. two awesome things. and his pants, really tight. so tight they werent even pants, they were tights! hes just one example from the legions of tights-clad rolemodels for the world. superman? tights, cool blue ones. batman? really tight like, rubber pants that were weird (i understand that it could be disputed whether or not batman flew or simply glided, but for argument's sake, were gonna say he can fly here). spiderman cant necessarily fly, but he can do some pretty cool things, and he wears really tight red spider pants. iron man, like the new blockbuster hit movie, sure does have some time pants, and he made a lot of money because so many people wanted to go see him fly. i didnt, but i can safely assume that he did a lot of great things in the movie.

so there you have it. way more cool people wear tight pants than baggy ones. not that there arent cool people who wear baggy pants, but heres a question for you. can they fly?

didnt think so.

seriously, if your style is gangster, be gangster, if your style is heshy, be heshy, if your style is drunk, be drunk. its all gravy-like.

plus when jordan seldin(sp?) and hill are killing SO hard, whats to hate?

i wear relatively tight (not skin tight, but not baggy)

cause at 6'1" and 125 lbs i'm pretty skinny.

and your "normal" fitting jeans look a little to gangster for this whiteboy.

on the left is me, the one on the right is Andy Longley,

the uk's hottest ski bitch ever made!

take that world! we rock.

english people are cool, and one of my english friends wears tight pants, but not so tight hes trying to make some kind of statement and thinks hes cool. he just bought snowpants and they happened to be slightly tight.... skiing shouldnt be a fuckin fashion show you queers.

dear joanna,

the advantage to wearing tight pants is that those who like wearing tight pants enjoy it. no one cares who you're attracted to. it is done because some people like to wear tight pants. understand? now get over it. tight pants, baggy pants, medium pants, one size too big pants, one size too small pants, long pants, short pants, who gives a shit?

Apparently tha skaters at my school wear them because they have this magical "strech" fabric that guys jeans do not an when eatin shit on pavement it doesn't hurt as bad

i personally like to give by balls at least a half inch of room unlike the negative 3 inch ball squeezers that these things are

my belief is that considering "Every skater that does this at my school is a douche bag"

its just a way to wear girls pants an feel gay, but not get ripped on

Maybe next year

eh, well, skateboardings cooler than anything youre ever gonna do, so theres always that.

you win some, you lose some. and i didnt think people still said 'skater'. apparently 5th grade is still alive and well around these parts. ps, 'tight pants' does not mean 'girls pants'. once again, adolescence comes back with a vengeance in the form of lil kids who does realize the clothing opportunities beyond their local tj maxx.

ill never understand why skiing insists on being so goddamn superficial that time and time again, we get threads based on the fucking PANTS that people are wearing. it holds that much importance to everyone that they feel the need to discuss the benefits of them? use your head, why would they provide any kind of benefit to skiing? just like how baggy pants do not provide any benefit. theyre pants, they keep your legs warm no matter how far they are from them. why do certain people not use poles? why do certain people like mittens instead of gloves? why do certain people wear blue jackets? its a preference for gods sake, when are people going to get that through their thick skulls and stop fucking caring so much about PANTS.

that said, i would LOVE to see a thread hating on people wearing blue jackets. like someone who just doesnt get why someone would wear blue. lets see if we can build an argument around that, because lord knows unreasonable arguments are about as common as birds in the sky at this point.

think of how many skiers are fags though, the park is usually full of thugged out white kids in xxxxl with a huge attitude problem trying to be as thug as possible.
i do see tons of skaters who are tools too, but those are the guys with a wifebeater on and like barbed wire tattoo's on their arm. overall though skateboarding seems to have a much more positive relaxed attitude.
actually all the skiers ive seen wearing tight pants are usually super nice and have an awesome attitude. they arent like emo's wearing skin tight spray on pants, just form fitting normal size pants. skiing definatly needs a change, the attitude of about 95% of skiers is to be as gangster as possible and have the most thug style, its gotten soooo damn old. skiing needs an attitude and style change, and from what ive seen, people with tight pants have a much much better more positive fun attitide, and a way more original smooth style.
people like max hill and nyman are some of the steeziest people in skiing and they arent emo kids or anything, they are super nice fun loving people, they are FAR less emo than most the thugged out kids with a bitchy attitude.

i like the thugged style, theres nice thugs

but don't get me wrong, the dude that rides for surface that wears the tight pants is sick lookin an is a nasty skiier

I've noticed new attitudes in this thread that come out towards pants, and this is why I keep posting in here.

Practically everyone on this website assumes for the worst. "Tight pants" comes to mind, people think girl pants right away. But many pants come with 98% cotton and 2% lycra, this gives the stretchyness. The shit is comfy. Personally I can't pull of skin tight pants, I would love to though. Tight pants are amazingally comfy as well. If someone we're to bring a topic like this to a skateboarding forum, the tighter fitting pants would win majority. You can't skate with your fucking ass hanging out and be constantally pulling your pants up. Different sports almost demand for a fashion that suits everything so it works out. Skiing just so happens to be one of those neutral sports where you shouldn't worry about what clothing stlye you wear.

Personally, I laugh at the "Thug" image, but its just howmy town is. I can't wear baggy-ass pants hanging below my ass. You people out there need to just respect peoples cultures, it's their way of life and you should just accept it. I mentioned in an earlier post that it's not just skaters and emos that have the tight pants image.

Now back to skiing in the pants. My best friends have tight pants, they ski no different, the only thing we notice is the amount of people staring. There's almost been fights cause some cocky city thug's can't accept it and just judge right away. You see a kid in tight pants and no poles, most people think he's a fag. WHAT THE HELL PEOPLE!

But for now, I can just see myself repeating everything I just stated, except with different examples.

Get a grip on the sport and accept that different people are just bringing thier lifestyles to the ski hill.

Tight jeans are amazing, I swear by them.  Thugged out, ecco or seanjean jeans are very previous.

When it comes to skiing, however, I prefer to wear looser pants, simply because tight snowpants look a little awkward.  They have to be awkwardly shaped or fit in order to fit over the boot.  Tight snowpants are just tight pants, but flared at the bottom.

If skiboots weren't so chunky, I would rock tight pants in a second.  They are though, so I wear a more relaxed fit pant, far more relaxed than I would dream of wearing off the hill.

Tight jeans > baggy jeans

tight snowpants < regular fit snowpants

Thats in my opinion though, wear whatever the fuck you want.
