Tight pants

this style dosint seem huge in sking but seems to be catching on in snowboarding. Those pants that are like tight down to the knee and then open up with a boot cut. I wanted to get a pair but don't know how to size them to myself. I want them to be slim but baggy around the boot should i get xl or should i get them to fit so like a medium or large?

they probly wouldnt fit tightly if you bought them in xl so i would say go with a medium or maybe just wait, im sure burton will come out with something like this

i just sewed my regular snow pants. its reall easy like. or holden is also a reall good choice there stuff is really clean

definatly holden or sessions. medium holden stuff flares out at the boot, but nice and snug at the knees. im diggin on my sessions pants, the tight pants is a hot look.

and to clearify a few myths about this style...

no, they are not unconfortable, you can often find snow pants that are slightly stretchy, so movement is not really restricted. in my opinion, movement is better becuase they arent sagging below your ass.

no, they are not cold. they are waterproof, windproof, and sometimes even insulated. just like all other ski pants.

actually they would probially be even warmer since the material is right on your leg keepin you warm...

NO NO NO NO, I disagree with all the power I possibly can.

I don't care what you wear on the slopes as long as you have fun, but emo steeze is by NO MEANS steezier then baggy.

Not that it matters either way, but daum I will NEVER understand the tight look.

Not only that but I like to be able to move around in my threads, not to mention not having my nuts and bolt crushed to the side of my leg.

yeh just buy womens outerwear, that's where the tight fitting market is at right now, WOMEN, because they are the ones who actually have a figure that conforms to tight fit pants.

Just don't see how it can be comfortable for a guy to wear that, unless you have a teeeny weeny, or like having your cock and balls crushed, which some dudes do.

^ yah it is true

you have to have good style to pull it off, Baggy stuff covers unwanted movments. I love both styles but only know a few who can really pull either off.

its really easy but try it on some old snow pants at first. anyways i know people who are really good at it and figure out ways to make it all perfect but i just kinda wing it and say whatever. so just take em, flip em inside out and then just sew it down like the outside or inside and make sure you leave it flare-ish so you can fit yer boots in. theres no problems with new seams cuz it still leads to the original its just like tighter. that was a horrid explanation if you still need help i can prob take picz.

ahahha yeah my brothers been reppin a blak with white checkers team vintersars jacket for like 3 years and now there producing it wich sucks but its still cool.

Tight pants look OK but it has to be pulled off perfectly and you have to be a hell of a skier to do it. I remember seeing some pics of a guy with tight pants that pulled it off. White pants + green jacket + no poles i think

That doesn't make sense. I have some skin tight jeans, and they are way comfy. But it looks like tight ski pants would be soo snug and comfy, I would just feel good...but not for me. It wouldn't fit in with my 2x jacket, and tall T.

It might be alright, but I don't want to give it a shot and not like it. And my jacket is HUGE...so I don't know there

it is kind of like wearing krew pants and tall t's, looks goofy.
