Ticket Advise

So I need some advice. Basically, I got my first speeding ticket today, which sucked. I'm 16, and have been driving for about 7 months now, and haven't really run into any issues before. So I have two questions that I'd appreciate if you guys could answer for me (seriously please). I was clocked going 81 in a 65 coming down from the mountains in Colorado (in a section I thought was 75, but I didn't say that to the cop or anything, just was polite, and took the ticket), which is 170$ fine. Now, the money issue isn't really that big for me or anything, yeah it sucks but whatever, I've had a job for a while. But the issue is that its 2 points on my license if I pay it, but 4 points if I don't. My question is, for those of you who have fought tickets before, is it better to fight a fairly minor ticket like this or just pay it?

Also, my second question is how much do you think my insurance will go up? I already pay a ton for being 16, and having a Subaru Impreza, so I don't have a lot to spare as I pay for my own insurance. This is the main reason I want to fight the ticket, as I heard if you fight it and it gets reduced, your insurance doesn't rise as much. I don't know, but thanks for the help guys!

Sparknotes: I'm not summarizing it, either you read it and post serious advice or don't. Thanks.

If I were you I'd try to find out if your state has a deferral program. I've only gotten one ticket before and I did this thing where I paid a little extra and as long as I didn't get in any more traffic violations for a certain period, the ticket would be taken off my record.

idk if this will help you any but who knows...

im 16 as well and i had never gotten pulled over until this summer me and my friend went riding around on my moped together, we were just riding down to the lake it wasnt gay or anything, and i was pulled over. i ended up getting a ticket for riding with a passanger on a one person vehicle. it was a 180 dollar ticket and i think 2 points, i was pissed as fuck but whatever. i wasn't aware of the law and i just went in and talked with the chief of police and ended up getting it changed to a non-moving violation. so i ended up only having to pay the 180 and no points off my license and no increase on my insurance. so i would say just go in and plead no contest on your court date, it should definitly hlep you out with the insurance situation...
