He's not taking it too personally, he simply has formed an opinion on something. You, along with other key contributors to this thread, have taken it too personally by treating his opinion as a jihad against your no poled beliefs. You don't ride without poles? great, I won't speak for matt, but I'm certainly not going to lose sleep over it. You may say it's steezier, and perhaps it is, but just take into consideration that despite how you may think this is the "new wave" for park skiing, there are always going to be people who disagree with you. In that situation, I would ask that you understand that some people like riding with poles, just like you don't like riding with them. This all relates back to taking it personally. People have opinions, respect them, don't reject them
