Three new EF lenses from Canon

I'm a little confused by this one.

Four stop IS on wide angle primes? They managed to slow down the aperture from the 28 1.8 for more depth of field and IS; then just threw in the IS on the 24 2.8, uhh? They forgot to put the IS on the 24-70 II..

do want that 24 2.8 IS prime, with some USM, not a bad lens. I love having IS for video, and with a WA you usually dont get it.

24 1.8 USM would be much better, but I guess that would bite into their market for the 24L. Currently I'm shooting a lot with a Pentax Takumar 28 3.5 and I'm loving the focal length so dependent on the price I may have to jump on this. I was considering the 30 1.4 from sigma as well but it's less attractive seeing as it's only for APS-C crop sensors and eventually I want to carry most of my glass over to FF. Lame.

Full frame is awesome man, definitely make the switch at some point

and the siggys are hit or miss, better that you waited for these lenses. I'm hoping for an entire IS USM line of primes, for 24/28/35/50/85, that'd be so sick

I'm blown away by the price of the 24-70 II. Thats crazy. I've been holding off buying the MKI version for about a year now. I'll wait for a comparison, but seriously.
