Thredbo v Perisher

Perisher has a better park and more variety plus they have two pipes and are cutting a 22ft full scale pipe this year which will be hectic.

Thredbo has better terrain and on a pow day I'd go Thredbo over Perisher any day due to their backbowls and touring you can do fairly easily.

Thredbo. Terrain is way sicker and they are moving the high noon terrain park over the VT side this year so it should be way better.

VT side? I hope this means it will be longer, but yeah thredbo less lift lines nicer terrain and a pool and showers

VT = valley terminal. The park used to be on Highnoon which is accessed via the Gunbarrel chair from the Friday flat side of the mountain. The new position of the park means that you should be able to lap it from the Snowgums second unload (I think). Here is what was said:

"Super Park under Kosciuszko Express Chairlift - The terrain park from High Noon has been moved to the area known as Chute 5 which was previously used for the Bag Jump operations. The upper part of this run will contain box and rail features. At the end of this run there will be a crossover to Milk Run which will host a jump line with 3 large features. The establishment of the Super Park in the meadows area has allowed High Noon to be re-established as a wide open ski run."

Thredbo! especially when it snows, perisher is better for intermediate skiers due the the fact that the runs are flatter and also shorter, thredbo has good long runs, good off piste for pow days and shorter lift lines, the antons advanced park is sick when they have good a good amount of snow with 5 jumps from 30-60ft and rails.
