Thread Suggestions when creating one

When in due time the issues with the search bar are dealt with, would it be possible to implement some kind of pre-emptive search on thread titles when someone is creating a thread, something akin to this:

I think if it could be done without much of a hassle, acting as a Search Bar function while you make the thread title, it could lessen the huge amount of threads of the same name, same idea, same subject and similar discussions.

 
If it could somehow be coded like the existing searchbar with the News/NSTV Guide search which finds even parts of titles, it could work very well to ease everyone's annoyment and the constant barrage of both actual reposts, and the repost threads rising to the sruface as reposts because people like to say "repost" a lot.

The main thing here is again the amount of repetition in newer members and time differences when it comes to bigger news or events, like right now there have been constant threads about Tebow/Manning for the past few days, and they just keep popping up.

A system like this could both eliminate many unnecessary threads, but also reinvigorate existing ones.
 
Yes, of course, and I'm sure it's use would be advocated when it happens, but seeing as NS is a site where a lot of people, even been here years on end, still ask SG or NSG about a very simple issue, to which they would have gotten multiple legit answers via a simple Google search, the avid use of the SB is almost unplausible. As it is, like you know, someone uses it once, understands it really doesn't work, and doesn't use it anymore.

If the change comes, it should be notified and shown how useful it can be to shift through the... millions(?) of threads on here. Having something like this as a demo or test would be pretty beneficial.
