Thoughts on this outerwear set up?

Currently have the Deep Space Blue Armada Gore Tex Jacket but have been struggling to find pants I like that will go well with it. Don't want to go for the generic black and don't want to go for something too bright either. The Anomie pants caught my eye however in the lookbook they looked less green and more khaki and I thought this would go well. Once I saw they were military green I was unsure. But I'm having second thoughts now and I think it will look alright together, what do you think?

ie: I Thought the Saga pants would look more like this:but the lighting effect takes the green out of them714421.jpeg

The pants in that photo of Jeremy aren't the military color. They were an early sample of khaki with black knee patches that didn't make the final cut.

I think the straight khaki fatigue pants would look ill with that jacket.

Oh! That answers it. Damn, I really like this sample, think it looks sick and can combo really well with a lot of tops wish you would have kept it haha but I can't pester you guys for that. And yes I agree, I really dig the black patches and the military green being the only solid colour having them has grown on me, so I think I'll dig in and order them unless you will release some limited edition khaki fatigues with patches!

Cheers for stopping by. Really digging the Mahalo design this year by the way! Definitely ordering a hoodie too

Already have it in large haha a gore tex shell is something you need to fit, eyeing another baggy XL jacket and ye I might go with the khaki and add some black patches myself ^^ just gotta borrow me a sewing machine

You talk about having a goretex shell, so I'm assuming you care about how waterproof things are... Sewing stuff onto your pants will damage their waterproofing, because there will be a bunch of little holes essentially along the seam where you do. Don't do that if you care about waterproofing, especially with new pants

Yes I wasn't being that serious however the idea did excite me for a while but then I realised it would be stupid to sew on fabric to make it more aesthetically pleasing to my eye. My sister graduated in costume design and she's got a whole workshop with a bunch of cool fabrics so I got a bit exited, ie sewing on some mahalo like pattern patches on my pants.

I did order the green fatigue pants in the end with some mahalo hoodie and tek layer goodness. I'm excited!

Its weird though, went through numerous catalogs and I could just not settle for some solid colour pants, so I went with the patches, probably has to do with the fact that my jacket is already solid coloured.

You seriously sound like a chick.

Cheers, I had second thoughts posting this thread, but who gives a fuck. I felt like I needed some outside influence to make a decision so I came here, no harm in that. Buying something that lasts, might as well make sure you're making the right decision.

I have a blue coat a bit lighter than yours and I use some khaki, uninsulated poacher burton pants. The color is called "hashed" on their website.
