I am 5' 9'' 140 i would use these skis for almost all park like 90-95 % I'm a decent skier
 
they will be alright for u since ur light, but there was no need to get the jesters, u wont need a 16 din binding, u coulda went with the griffons
 
i was flexing them in the shop today and they felt like a teenage girls ski compared to my chronic's...
 
yeah griffons will be fine for u, as far as silencers go, like i said they will be alright for u, but they are pretty much ur beginner park/all mtn ski, cap construction, not too wide underfoot, but if ur not looking to send alot, id say go for it, but there are better skis out there
 
For 90-95% park I'd definitely get a symmetrical ski and mount at true centre. If you want a cheap ski get Afterbangs or try and find some old Invaders/Anthems depending on your width preference. For pure park I think any of the above just makes much more sense than Silencers..
 
again look at afterbangs!!

what size are you looking for in skis though? I could have 161 cm 09 invaders for sale.I just ordered them last week and i am gonna return them as soon as they come in only cuz i ordered them tooo short. let me know if youd be interested especially if ur on east coast.
 
don't limit your choice to afterbangs they are sick but also look at anthems, the ar6, walls, there are alot of good skis out there. I wouldn't get silencers but the griffon binding would work great for you.
 
sorry for the double post.... you should get alteast 177 or so i'm 5'9 125 pounds and i have 177 walls centered and they don't feel very long i would not go shorter.
 
well i gave him the option of afterbangs because they are closest to the price range of the silencers. of course other skis are good too.

I just came back from a local ski shop and looked at afterbangs once again before i get them. They are quite heavy or at least not very light. (or at least they felt so in hand). The crazy thing i realized is how small the difference there is between 166cm ski and 177cm ski in size.

but yeah let us know ur decision!! afterbangs have little sicker graphixs as well. Although 2010 thalls are nice too.
