Thoughts on Reckoner 92s?

Very curious about theses, Im not into the whole using a wide ski in the park stuff, I'm still a beginner and the times I have taken my wider skis into the park I feel like even more of a jerry than I normally feel like.

I currently have a pair of 177 honey badgers, and I like the way they ski. I am lead to believe that I would like the reckoner 92s cuz they seem not identical but similar in some sense to honey badgers, and the reck 92s come in a 179, which is a size I would normally ski. plus the price point is $300 lol. anyone else curious about the reck 92s?

My 102s feel great. Pretty sure the 92s have as more centered midsole to. Idk man they'll prolly be fun. I'd reed roofbox for the 102 and kinda imagine the traits traits a slightly smaller ski

The 92 is the biggest disappointment in K2s line, aside from the lack of a MB 116 Ti.It’s a reckoner in name only. Really just a price point tweener ski designed to be grown out of or for someone not really looking for much. The principle characteristics are it’s a ski. Nothing follows.

Yup. It’s like the Dynastar Menace 90 or the Rossi Smash 7…. Partial sidewall, fake twins meant for the 12-16 year old who comes in and says “I ski in the park” but only skis off the sides of the lips…. Skip them OP

what the hell. I assumed it was a more park focused reckoner since people like to ride 102s in the park. Why would they even put that under the reckoner line

Yeah they added it to the Reckoner line to boost it by association essentially. When you think ab it from a marketing standpoint, kids who are too young/small/not heavy enough for a Reck 102, but see guys like Joona Kangas and Isaac Simon skiing them, they want to buy those skis, and having the 92 in the line is like, “oh, I can have a Reckoner like Joona and it’s less expensive than the 102.” Mostly marketing here, but yeah if you’re over like 15 definitely hop on a 102, not the 92 haha
