Hey guys,

Been shooting alot of narrative stuff recently and I kind of wanted to throw it back to my older style of filming while also working in some new aesthetic inspirations.

Hope you enjoy the sights and sounds of the North West. Would love to hear your guys thoughts.

Cheers,

Lots of beautiful shots in there. Sound was also very well done! Just curious as to what your process for getting the sound that clean is. I remember watching your kendama film a few years ago, and have been very impressed with everything you've put out since.

Thank you!

I just do alot of sound design. I've been pretty inspired by alot of Mike Clarke's sound design and have always been drawn to good sound. I record sound on location with a rode vmp and wind muff but I also add sfx, EQ, and mix. You can check out freesound.org for a good place to start.

Ok you have made it really difficult to give any kind of constructive feedback for improvement because I seriously can't find flaws in this video.

I really loved your use of DOF. Using the people, branches and fences in the foreground adds so much more depth to the shots.

I also admired the use of the glide cam throughout the entire film. You had some very unique movements in there.

The first time I watched through this I totally thought it was shot on the RED I saw in your Narrative work. I was pleasantly surprised to see it was all shot on the GH3. Super inspiring stuff.

Keep up the excellent work! Love every video you put out. Cheers.

Yeah, and reading through the comments, I saw the Rokinon 35 and 85 were two of the lenses used. Definitely makes a great case for purchasing them.
