Thoughts on Marker Jesters

What are your thoughts on the Marker Jester bindings? Durability, performance, etc...? Appreciate it NS 🤙🏼🍻

*excuse my incompetence if there’s already a thread like this, and if so, please link it*

meh...they are decent. If you are getting a good deal on them thats fine, and i would ride them if they were a good price. If you are paying retail then there are better bindings for the same price IMO. I would go Attack 16, Pivot 14, or STH2 16 over the Jester. All are about the same price or even cheaper.

Heels take a lot of force to step in, kinda a pain in the ass in deep snow. I prefer the sth or attack over the griffon due to ease of step in, pivots over everything though. The attacks are great because of how cheap they are for the performance they offer.

I really like mine, the elasticity on the heel is about 27-18mm versus like 15 or 16 of the attack series or sth type heels, they havent broken on me on big icy jumps (aspen open). If you're looking for reliable binding jesters are it, but beware that the heel track is plastic.

Jester has the same elasticity in the heel as the attack and sth, the pivot has the 28mm heel travel.

On paper the jester and attack offer the exact same elasticity in the toe and heel while the attack has a lower stack height.

Actually, the jester/griffon has the same heel spring as the pivot/axial/spx series, while the attack/sth does not. The jester and pivot have the spring within the heel, giving it higher elasticity, while the attack series and sth type heels have the spring laying parallel to the ski, allowing easier step in/out, but reduced elasticity.

Read what blister said. I trust them way more than you.
