Thoughts on a two ski quiver.

Thinking about switching up the gear for next season since my season will be much shorter and less predictable the next winter or two. Moving from a 3 ski down to a 2 ski general package.

Anyone using something like a 102 + 116 quiver? Just want a pair of low tide and high tide skis that can function well for mostly all mountain but very variable conditions.

Jeff 102 / Wildcat 101 + J116 / WC116 / Whitewalker?

Currently on a bdog that doesnt get much use, Mfree108 that I don't super enjoy in variable, and old Bentchetler that I dont get enough big pow days to really justify the width.

I'm thinking Deathwish104 + Jeffery 118 personally.

You have to give us more info to make a meaningful recommendation. Where do you ski? Do you prioritize charging or ability to turn on a dime? How much time do you spend in the park? Do you like to drive the front of the boot or ski in a more neutral/centered stance?

depends how deep you will be skiing, but i feel like 116 falls into the same category as 120. i would say a 112 like reckoners and then something narrower more playful like armada stranger

Yeah west coast. I've been skiing a 96 underfoot the last couple years, and while it was great on firm snow, I'm a stash finder, and it was a little too sinky for my taste for the 8" dustings we get every so often. I'm hoping upping to a 102 just gives it a touch more float while keeping it good on the rails on icier days and playful in slushtown in the spring.

Anything over a foot and I'll be jumping on the wider sticks to head up to Whis to hit some bowls and steeps, but it'll always be chopped out by noon on weekends so 116 seems a good middle ground for deeper pow and still maintaining decent skiability in the afternoons. This might be my bias dropping down from a 123 underfoot but I still like a wider platform generally on skis.

as [tag=273152]@BradFiAusNzCoCa[/tag] said I have a handful of skis but I really only use a 110 and a 98. I use the 110 probably 90% of the times and the 98 when it's really firm. Havent even had a chance this season to bring out the 120's, and they really only shine when it's super light and deep.
