I've been wondering that as well. I seem to recall Mike Gutt (K2 guy) saying that many of the riders like them mounted 3 cm's forward. I was watching the US Open last night and Mercon's PE's looked weird, his bindings were mounted really far back and he had super short tails and long tips.

+3 is great for everything...i've skiied everything (pipe, park, steeps, groomers) and they have killed it on everything...probly the best all mtn twin

i have em mounted center sole, i love em.....i wasnt sure if id like them more forward so i went with em like this and love em.

Just talked to a tech who skis PE's... He says for optimal performance go for center. Now I am really confused...

 
for best ski performance, you mount them at the center mark. you can mount them forward more so you have more tail for jumping and doing switch shit, but they wont be as good for acual skiing

5 1/2?? The scale on the ski doesnt even go that high.. It goes up to 3...

Well I mounted them at 1 1/2 forward... I will test them out tommorow...

 
I mounted them +1, and they've been working great all-mountain and in the park. no regrets there, so if you do the park, but like all-mountian also, +1's what i did and it works well
