just the other day i over rotated a frontfilp and landed on my shoulder. I chipped my shoulder blade and ripped all the muscles in my shoulder.

holy shit no way!!! i overrotated a frontflip and broke my left humorous raight by my shoulder. good thread idea. i looked at the description and said to myself, "i dont remember making this thread" haha mirror image of what i did

did the same thing skiing pow. i was on a flat (ikr?) and looked behind me, caught an edge, then fell as i was going over a knoll. ended up catching air during the sliding and finished on my face. my friends fell over from laughing.

Landed on a rail on my hip... the massive welt lasted 2 weeks. Flat landing to back was also fun.... Hard to sleep when every slight movement kills. And today I caught a ski pole in the face from my buddy.... I amd still bleeding. But nothing serious yet!

Caught an edge hitting the first jump at glen Eden today sent me flying landing on my tailbone and twisting my knee worst part was it was my third run after spending two straight airing the line to get my speed right.! We shall see ehat the doc says tomorrow hurts to walk sit and stand fetal position and ns app for a while for me

broke my sternum 4 weeks ago and it has been raining for the past 3 and a half. now we're getting snow all week and this is the first weekend i can ski again. its working out surprisingly well.

Broke my collarbone this friday, the doc told me that i cant ski until next winter. But when i talk to another doc he tells me that i can ski in 5 weeks. WOHO my life is saved! :D

im only 20 and have arthritis in my left knee is what i am told this is now the second flare up so i need to get it drained for a total of 4 times in the past 2 years and get another shot of cortisone this thursday hopefully it will last for the rest of the season! but it hurts like a bitch pretty much can barely walk on it FML arthritis at 20

Super bad ligament and soft tissue damage in my left wrist... and Im left handed. That's twice in 2 seasons now, but another week or so and I should be good to shred.

Smashed my face on the bottom of a pool in our hotel while on a ski trip. Black eye and cuts everywhere. And my ankle and knee have been acting up a lot lately from injuries that happened last year.

I feel for ya bro. I broke my humeral head and tore my rotator cuff last Jan. 15th. I was back out on the hill in mid march. I couldn't pole plant or crash but I still got out there. Keep your head up and you might get a few more days in this season!

That's what I'm hoping, thanks for the vibes. For the record, I pizza'd when I should have french fried and as a result, had a bad time

i went off a jump with to much speed landed sketchily on the flat broke my left radius and ulna and because it was a backseat landing too i had stress fractures in my shins to make matters worse, im finally back on skis this weekend

dont be scared. i mine was on a pretty big jump, bigger than i was used too, and i overshot as well. if ur trying ur first, ideal conditions would be a pretty small pow jump, then u dont have to worry about timing, just huck quite hard.

My injury isn't due to skiing but skiing made it worse. I broke my ankle in October and ate shit on my face hard a few weeks ago and may have re-broken it.

Yea dont be afraid to try a frontflip. I just hurt myself because of my skis poped off and i hit the jump too fast.

broken tailbone (makes me sound like such a noob), my toes have been tingling for 2 weeks because of some nerves i damaged

my ankle jus ended my season, and it started out from a non skiing injury. then it just gave out in my ski boot, despite all the PT ive been doing that i requested-not a doctor. anyways mri results came today, i need 1 to 3 screws put through my tibula and my fibula(i think one will only be half way through my fibula, and that one will stay for 9 months) because i ahve like 3 or 4 torn ligaments, bunch of this and that like edema of marrow and soft tissue along with a long list of other smaller shit. its mostly the ruptured ligaments and membrane that wont heal on its own.

if someone told me a year ago i was going to have to have an injury like this during ski season i would have assumed knee, or even neck or back. but ankle... never thought thatd be a big deal in a ski boot, boy was i wrong.
