...I was sitting in the base lodge at Talisman eating a pizza, bugging my mom to gimme a lift pass so I could ski while they unpacked luggage.

This time, this year, I am SUPPOSED to be in the car, almost at Owls Head, Sutton, or Orford, which would be covered in snow and jumps.

This time, this year, I AM sitting here typing this. No snow, no car, no nearby hill.

last year at this time i was skiing in knee deep powder and building a big ass jump in that nice powder. fast forward to this year: hoping that my hill open on tuesday. yeah this blows

Last year at this time there was about 2 feet of snow in tahoe, today, there's about 12 feet above 8,000 ft. 6 ft at 6,000 ft

This time last year i was FREEZING my ass off in -30 temperatures trying to make sunshine half decent. Everything from adding tonnes of snow fence to picking rocks off the runs. No pow, just a foot of ice if we were lucky.

this time last year there was 25 inches of snow on the ground all nice and dry. my entire hill was open every run we even attempted to ski through some trees on the side. I had gone skiing like 20-30 times. this year one run green grass no snow

 
Last year this time my hill had a full park. Yesterday I got to hit a sweet jump, they had one run open and a med table.

 
Exactly one year to the day Dec 23 i was scored with my girlfriend at her parents cabin at the mountain while it was dumping massive amounts of snow outside, so not only was i pleased that night i was very pleased the next morning when i walked outside to 2 ft of fresh snow. It was a great weekend.

Funny how massive corporations and media giants like NBC refuse to support new skiing events like big air and big mountian, yet they use the latter's image to enhance their own. Actually, not so funny. Suck it, NBC.
